POLICE ARREST 47 ARMED SUSPECTS AT BAUCHI BY ELECTION POLLING UNITS
Police in Bauchi State have arrested 47 people allegedly found with firearms, cutlasses and sticks at polling units during the Disina State Constituency by election. Police say the suspects claimed to belong to a state owned security outfit that had been prohibited from election security duties. They are being transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and possible prosecution.
