COURT DELAYS RIGHTS HEARING FOR DETAINED ALLEGED FAKE AGENCY DG ADEYEMI

The Federal High Court in Abuja has delayed proceedings in a fundamental rights case filed by detained Adeniyi Adeyemi after finding that the 72 hour period given to the police and other respondents to reply had not expired. Adeyemi separately faces eight criminal charges involving alleged forgery, fraud and impersonation linked to an organization the Presidency has described as fake.
