NPP CAN WELCOME ALAN KYEREMATEN BACK, BUT NOT AS FLAGBEARER JOE WISE
Former First Deputy Speaker Joseph Osei-Owusu says Alan Kyerematen would be welcome to return to the New Patriotic Party as a member but cannot automatically become its presidential flagbearer. Joe Wise says the NPP has already completed its internal selection process, with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia elected to lead the party into the 2028 election. His comments follow Kyerematen’s statement that he would consider returning to the NPP if invited to lead it as flagbearer.
