BRITISH POLICE ADMIT WARRANTS USED IN ANDREW INVESTIGATION WERE UNLAWFULLY GRANTED
Thames Valley Police has admitted that warrants used to search properties linked to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor were unlawfully granted under the wrong legal basis. The warrants covering Wood Farm at Sandringham and Royal Lodge in Windsor are being quashed, but the police investigation into alleged misconduct in public office remains active. Andrew has not been charged and denies wrongdoing. The next major legal issue is whether material seized during the February searches can still be retained and used.
