ATIKU CONDEMNS ATTACKS ON SOWORE, SOKOTO ADC CANDIDATE AS 2027 POLITICAL TENSIONS RISE
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned separate incidents involving AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore in Ekiti and ADC governorship candidate Manir Muhammad Dan’Iya in Sokoto, warning against political intimidation ahead of the 2027 elections. Sowore says armed men deliberately attacked him, while Ekiti Police describe the incident as an altercation and say officers rescued him.
