ATIKU TO CAMPAIGN IN ALL 36 STATES AS ADC CONTRASTS STRATEGY WITH TINUBU’S 12-STATE TOUR
The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council says Atiku Abubakar will personally campaign across all 36 states ahead of Nigeria’s January 2027 presidential election. Phrank Shaibu told ARISE News that the campaign will go beyond large rallies to include town halls, community meetings, local-government engagements and visits to villages, while rejecting suggestions that Atiku’s electoral strategy is focused mainly on northern Nigeria. The approach contrasts with President Bola Tinubu’s plan to personally attend rallies in 12 selected states while the APC’s broader campaign organization operates nationwide.
