Ghana's Black Stars suffered a stunning 4–2 home defeat to The Gambia in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier after surrendering a two goal lead at the Accra Sports Stadium. Ernest Nuamah and Felix Afena Gyan put Ghana 2–0 ahead, but The Gambia scored four unanswered goals to leave Carlos Queiroz's side without a point after their opening two Group C matches.
