US JUDGE DISMISSES CANDACE OWENS PERSONALLY FROM MACRON CASE BUT LAWSUIT AGAINST HER COMPANIES CONTINUES
A Delaware judge has dismissed Candace Owens personally from a defamation lawsuit filed by Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron, ruling that the court lacks jurisdiction over her because she lives in Tennessee. The lawsuit can continue for now against Candace Owens LLC and Georgetom Inc because both companies are registered in Delaware. The judge has not ruled on whether the disputed statements were defamatory and has requested further arguments concerning French defamation law, US law and limitation periods.
