PORTUGAL PROVISIONALLY SUSPENDS CRISTIANO RONALDO AS DISCIPLINARY PROBE BEGINS
Cristiano Ronaldo has been provisionally suspended from Portugal duty as the Portuguese Football Federation investigates his decision to leave the national team camp in September. The case has been given urgent status, but no final punishment has yet been imposed. Under FPF regulations, Ronaldo could ultimately face between one and six months of suspension, although mitigating circumstances may affect the final ruling.
