NDC Nwabiagya South Deputy Organiser Abdul Rasheed has warned that persistent electricity interruptions in the Ashanti Region could damage confidence in President John Mahama’s government. ECG has acknowledged that recent outages have resulted from equipment failures, cable faults and infrastructure upgrades, while GRIDCo and ECG are preparing additional planned interruptions from October 30 to November 29 as work continues on the Anwomaso–Ahodwo transmission-line upgrade.
