ECOWAS BIOMETRIC ID CARD SET TO MAKE TRAVEL EASIER ACROSS WEST AFRICA
Seven ECOWAS countries have deployed the National Biometric Identity Card as the regional bloc moves towards wider acceptance of the document at air, land and sea borders. The biometric card is designed to make identity verification faster and more secure while supporting easier movement of citizens across West Africa.
