NORTH CAROLINA MOTHER CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER DIES WEIGHING JUST 35 POUNDS
Kymberli Bowden, 45, has been charged with first degree murder after her 13 year old daughter was found dead in their North Carolina home weighing just 35 pounds. An autopsy determined that the teenager died from acute necrotizing pneumonia and severe malnutrition in the setting of caregiver neglect. Bowden had previously been charged with felony child abuse and concealing a death, while the girl’s twin brother was found alive in the same home and was also allegedly living in neglect.
