MOHBAD DNA TEST THROWN INTO FRESH CONTROVERSY AS FAMILY DEMANDS POSTPONEMENT AND FULL DISCLOSURE OF U.S. LAB
Mohbad’s family has asked authorities to postpone the DNA examination scheduled for October 31 at Mainland General Hospital/IDH in Yaba, Lagos, pending clarification over the laboratory that will conduct the analysis. The family wants the identity, address and accreditation of the proposed U.S. laboratory disclosed and is demanding detailed documentation showing how samples will be collected, labelled, preserved, transported and tested. It says the request is intended to ensure transparency and compliance with a May 5, 2026 court order and is not an allegation that the DNA process has already been manipulated.
