NIGERIAS CURRENT ACCOUNT SURPLUS JUMPS 68 PERCENT TO $7.54 BILLION
Nigeria's current account surplus rose 68 percent from the previous quarter to $7.54 billion in the second quarter of 2026, supported by stronger oil exports, remittances and services receipts. The improvement strengthens the country's external position and could provide additional support for foreign exchange stability.
