PUBLIC SERVANTS SET OCTOBER 2 WARNING STRIKE OVER PETROL PRICES AND WAGES
Nigeria's Joint National Public Service Negotiating Council says public servants will begin a three day nationwide warning strike on Friday, October 2, if the Federal Government fails to address its demands by September 30. The council wants petrol reduced to ₦500 per litre, an immediate wage award and negotiations to begin for a new national minimum wage ahead of 2027.
