HUNDREDS STILL CAPTIVE AFTER MASS KIDNAPPING AS NIGER STATE RESIDENTS PROTEST
Residents of communities in Niger State have staged a protest demanding urgent action to rescue hundreds of people abducted by armed men more than a month ago. Community leaders now estimate that close to 700 people could still be in captivity, although authorities have not confirmed the figure.
