NSCDC DETAINS 24 OFFICERS OVER DEATHS OF 37 MINERS IN NIGER STATE
The NSCDC has suspended and detained three additional personnel over the deaths of 37 suspected illegal miners in custody in Niger State, bringing the total number of officers being held to 24. The personnel will be made available to an independent federal investigation committee, with possible prosecution to follow.
