RUSSELL BRAND FOUND GUILTY OF RAPE AND THREE SEXUAL ASSAULTS AS JUDGE REMANDS COMEDIAN IN CUSTODY
Russell Brand, 51, has been found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault involving four women following a four-week trial at London's Southwark Crown Court. He was acquitted of two other rape charges and one count of attempted indecent assault. Judge Joel Bennathan refused bail and remanded him in custody ahead of sentencing on November 9. Brand denied all the allegations. Police are also investigating two further rape complaints.
