MINORITY FLAGS GH¢16.4M GAP IN ABLAKWA’S GH¢49.7M SOUTH AFRICA EVACUATION BILL
Ghana’s parliamentary Minority is demanding an independent audit after alleging that documents supplied by the Foreign Affairs Ministry leave approximately GH¢16.4 million of the GH¢49.72 million South Africa evacuation expenditure requiring further reconciliation. The Minority has raised questions over reintegration payments, transport allowances, commercial flight records, duplicate entries and payments involving minors. The figure remains an opposition allegation and has not been established as missing or stolen funds.
