FIVE CREW MEMBERS KILLED BY SOMALI PIRATES BEFORE HIJACKED TANKER RESCUED
Five crew members of the hijacked MT Honour 25 petroleum products tanker were killed by Somali pirates before Puntland security forces rescued the vessel, authorities say. Sixteen suspected pirates were captured during the operation, while four surviving crew members were injured. The killings appear to be the first deaths attributed to Somali pirates in more than a decade.
