Ghana’s pre-tertiary teacher strike remains in force after negotiations involving the FWSC, GES and teacher unions ended without agreement. Regional branches, including Ashanti, say teachers will not return to classrooms until there is verifiable progress on promotion arrears, a new collective agreement and deprived-area allowances.
