VENEZUELA NEARS DEAL TO MOVE 4 BILLION DOLLARS IN GOLD FROM LONDON TO NEW YORK
Venezuela's government and opposition are reportedly close to an agreement to transfer about $4 billion in central bank gold reserves from the Bank of England to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Under the proposed arrangement, Delcy Rodríguez's interim government would gain legal control of the gold but would not be allowed to immediately sell it.
